I made $1,000+ in less than 2 weeks after opening my eBay store.

No crazy inventory.
No paid course.
No huge following.

Here’s exactly what I did 🧵👇

1. I stopped treating eBay like a garage sale.
Most people list items randomly and hope.
Wrong mindset.

I treated my store like a REAL retail shop:

• Clean, bright photos
• Keyword-optimized titles
• Same niche / similar items
• Clear descriptions

Goal: When someone clicks your store, they browse — not bounce.

Make it easy for them to buy 2–3 items, not just 1.

2. I list EVERY single day. eBay rewards activity.

The algorithm pushes sellers who:

• Add new listings consistently
• Revise old listings
• Stay active

Even 3–5 listings per day builds momentum fast.

Perfection slows you down.

Volume builds traction.

3. I promote EVERY listing (but smartly).
Organic reach is limited.

If you’re not promoting, you’re invisible.
My strategy:

• Promote all listings at 2–4%
• Increase ad rate only on competitive items

Low % keeps margins healthy.

Visibility brings sales.

4. Watchers = money waiting.
If someone is watching your item, they’re interested.

Send offers.

I usually send 5% off (10% if margins allow).
A small discount often triggers action.

But always:

• Calculate fees
• Factor shipping
• Protect profit

Revenue is vanity. Profit is sanity.

5. I didn’t rely on eBay traffic alone.

I use:

• X
• Instagram
• Whatnot

Post new inventory.
Show packaging.
Share flips.
Even a small audience = extra traffic.
More traffic = more conversions.

6. Small things that compound:

• Offer combined shipping
• Study SOLD comps (not active listings)
• Ship same or next day
• Respond to messages fast

Fast shipping + good service = feedback.
Feedback = trust.
Trust = higher conversions.

There’s no secret hack.

It’s:
Consistency
Visibility
Volume
Speed

Do this for 30 days straight and watch what happens.
