Matthew 24:4-13 KJV
4 And Jesus answered and said unto them, Take heed that no man deceive you.
5 For many shall come in my name, saying, I am Christ; and shall deceive many.
6 And ye shall hear of wars and rumours of wars: see that ye be not troubled: for all these things must come to pass, but the end is not yet.
7 For nation shall rise against nation, and kingdom against kingdom: and there shall be famines, and pestilences, and earthquakes, in divers places.
8 All these are the beginning of sorrows.
9 Then shall they deliver you up to be afflicted, and shall kill you: and ye shall be hated of all nations for my name's sake.
10 And then shall many be offended, and shall betray one another, and shall hate one another.
11 And many false prophets shall rise, and shall deceive many.
12 And because iniquity shall abound, the love of many shall wax cold.
13 But he that shall endure unto the end, the same shall be saved.
1,000 days ago, at 6:29 a.m., Hamas terrorists invaded southern Israel, massacred over 1,200 people and abducted hundreds into Gaza. They thought they could break Israel.
They were wrong.
Israelis rebuilt communities, replanted fields, reopened schools, launched new businesses, revived tourism, advanced science, treated patients, created art, celebrated weddings, and brought life back where terror tried to erase it.
Israel answered hatred with resilience, destruction with rebuilding, and terror with life.
Despite every challenge, Israel rises. 🇮🇱

🇻🇦✝️ "Now we are witnessing an invasion. There are no refugees. No, this is an invasion of mass Islamization of Europe," says Bishop Athanasius Schneider.
He says that mass immigration is essentially the destruction of Europe's historical culture and Christianity.
BREAKING: Enoch Burke speaks after release from prison today
Teacher Enoch Burke was released from prison this morning.
Judge Brian Cregan said he was releasing Enoch Burke from prison because the Disciplinary Appeal Panel (DAP) process, set up to hear Enoch Burke’s appeal of his purported dismissal, is over.
Judge Cregan is fully aware of the gross injustice of the DAP process in Enoch Burke’s case. Enoch Burke was deceived into sitting in front of Claire Callanan as Chair of the Disciplinary Appeal Panel. Claire Callanan is married to Lyndon McCann SC, the chief legal adviser to the Church of Ireland, and holds high office herself in the Church of Ireland. Wilson’s Hospital School is a Church of Ireland school. In no way was Claire Callanan an ‘independent’ Chair.
It is shocking that Judge Cregan knows this, and yet accepts the findings of this biased panel.
Judge Cregan also said he was releasing Enoch Burke as it is now the school holidays and therefore Enoch is not a danger to the children at the school. Enoch Burke received nothing but kindness and goodwill from the children of Wilson’s Hospital School. We believe Judge Cregan is fully aware of this but nonetheless refuses to acknowledge it.
We have seen the recent scenes of depravity at the Dublin Pride Parade with men dressed as dogs and barking, satanists parading and other perverted displays. This is the filth which children are being taught in schools across the country, yet a High Court judge believes Enoch Burke is the danger. This is a disgrace.
I Believe - Glen Campbell
Lyrics:
I believe for every drop of rain that falls a flower grows
I believe that somewhere in the darkest night a candle glows
And I believe for every one who goes astray someone will come to show the way
I believe yes I believe
I believe above the storm the smallest prayer will still be heard
I believe that someone in the great somewhere hears every word
Every time I hear a new born baby cry or touch a leaf or see the sky
Then I know why I believe
I believe above the storm...
I believe yes I believe
My mom, my beautiful niece, and me, around 2000 — the three strongest women in the family, strengthened by our faith in God. My mom instilled strength and resilience in both of us.
God bless you, Mom 🙏🫶
Wind Beneath My Wings
It must have been cold there in my shadow
To never have sunlight on your face
You were content to let me shine,
You always walked a step behind
So I was the one with all the glory
While you were the one with all the strength
A beautiful face without a name for so long
A beautiful smile to hide the pain
Did you ever know that you're my hero
And everything I would like to be?
I can fly higher than an eagle
For you are the wind beneath my wings
It might have appeared to go unnoticed
But I've got it all here in my heart
I want you to know I know the truth,
I would be nothing without you
Did you ever know that you're my hero?
You're everything I wish I could be
I could fly higher than an eagle
For you are the wind beneath my wings
Did I ever tell you you're my hero?
You're everything, everything I wish I could be
Oh, and I, I could fly higher than an eagle
For you are the wind beneath my wings
'Cause you are the wind beneath my wings
Lyrics:
[VERSE 1]
We used to run when the clouds rolled in
Barefoot across that old back porch
Mama would say, “It’s just the wind”
But we swore we heard the Lord
Windows rattled, sky turned black
Like the world was closin’ in
I was just a boy back then
Afraid of what I couldn’t see comin’
[PRE-CHORUS]
But every time the sky would break
The sun would find its way
Every shadow couldn’t stay
[CHORUS 1]
Don’t fight the rain, let it pour down.
Let it wash away those doubts you're holdin' now.
Don’t fear the thunder when it crashes to the ground.
You know your faith won’t ever let you drown.
Let the lightning rip you open
and show the roots you've sown.
Because the strongest trees still stand…
…after the storm.
[Instrumental – Piano motif, light steel guitar swell enters]
[VERSE 2]
Now I don’t run when the gray rolls in
I’ve danced with loss, I’ve held my ground
Buried dreams in the cold hard wind
Watched love get struck down
There were nights I thought I’d break
Thought the flood would take me under
But pain has a way of teachin’ grace
And scars grow deep like thunder
[PRE-CHORUS]
And every time my sky would break
Something in me changed
I found strength inside the clouds
[CHORUS 2]
Don’t fight the rain, let it pour down.
Let it wash away the fear you're holdin' now.
Don’t fear the thunder when it shakes this broken ground.
You know your faith won’t ever let you drown.
Let the lightning strike and wake the strength inside your bones.
Let it dig beneath the doubt you've always known.
Even when the cold winds cut you to the stone—
The strongest trees still stand after the storm.
[BRIDGE]
When the river rises high
And the wind won’t let you pray
When the dark won’t say goodbye
And hope feels miles away
That’s when heaven leans in close
Whispers, “Child, you’re not alone…”
You were built to bend, not break
You were grown to be unshaken
[CHORUS 3]
Don’t fight the rain, let it pour down.
Let it wash away the fear you're holdin' now.
Don’t fear the thunder when it shakes this broken ground.
You know your faith won’t ever let you drown.
Let the lightning rip you open
let it carve it in your soul—
Because the strongest trees still stand…
Yeah the strongest hearts still stand…
We’re still standin’ tall…
…after the storm.
It’s one of my favourites. I love the Apostle Paul—the most educated of the Apostles yet the most humble. Many of my favourites come from him, though that makes sense, since most of the Epistles are his.
I had quoted this before and was just going to repost it, but the search engine no longer works like it used to. I guess I need to start bookmarking at least my Bible verse posts.
1 Corinthians 13:4-13 NKJV
4 Love suffers long and is kind; love does not envy; love does not parade itself, is not puffed up; 5 does not behave rudely, does not seek its own, is not provoked, thinks no evil; 6 does not rejoice in iniquity, but rejoices in the truth; 7 bears all things, believes all things, hopes all things, endures all things.
8 Love never fails. But whether there are prophecies, they will fail; whether there are tongues, they will cease; whether there is knowledge, it will vanish away. 9 For we know in part and we prophesy in part. 10 But when that which is perfect has come, then that which is in part will be done away.
11 When I was a child, I spoke as a child, I understood as a child, I thought as a child; but when I became a man, I put away childish things. 12 For now we see in a mirror, dimly, but then face to face. Now I know in part, but then I shall know just as I also am known.
13 And now abide faith, hope, love, these three; but the greatest of these is love.
Lyrics:
If you've been walking the same old road for miles and miles
If you've been hearing the same old voice tell the same old lies
If you're trying to fill the same old holes inside
There's a better life, there's a better life
If you've got pain, He's a pain taker
If you feel lost, He's a way maker
If you need freedom or saving, He's a prison-shaking Savior
If you got chains, He's a chain breaker
We've all searched for the light of day in the dead of night
We've all found ourselves worn out from the same old fight
We've all run to things we know just ain't right
When there's a better life, there's a better life
If you've got pain, He's a pain taker
If you feel lost, He's a way maker
If you need freedom or saving, He's a prison-shaking Savior
If you got chains, He's a chain breaker
If you believe it, if you receive it
If you can feel it, somebody testify
If you believe it, if you receive it
If you can feel it, somebody testify, testify
If you believe it, if you receive it
If you can feel it, somebody testify
If you've got pain, He's a pain taker
If you feel lost, He's a way maker
If you need freedom or saving, He's a prison-shaking Savior
If you got chains, He's a chain breaker
If you need freedom or saving, He's a prison-shaking Savior
If you got chains, He's a chain breaker
Lyrics
Oh my soul, oh how you worry
Oh how you're weary from fearing you lost control
This was the one thing you didn't see coming
And no one would blame you though
If you cried in private
If you tried to hide it away
So no one knows
No one will see if you stop believing
Oh my soul
You are not alone
There's a place where fear
Has to face the God you know
One more day
He will make a way
Let Him show you how
You can lay this down
'Cause you're not alone
Here and now, you can be honest
I won't try to promise
That someday it all works out
'Cause this is the valley
And even now He is breathing on
Your dry bones
And there will be dancing
There will be beauty where beauty was
Ash and stone
This much I know
Oh my soul
You are not alone
There's a place where fear
Has to face the God you know
One more day
He will make a way
Let Him show you how
You can lay this down
I'm not strong enough
I can't take anymore
(You can lay it down
You can lay it down)
And my shipwrecked faith
Will never get me to shore
(You can lay it down
You can lay it down)
Can He find me here?
Can He keep me from going under?
Oh my soul
You are not alone
There's a place where fear
Has to face the God you know
One more day
He will make a way
Let Him show you how
You can lay this down
'Cause you're not alone
Oh my soul, you're not alone
