As if we needed more evidence, new #BrexitDisaster data from Goldman Sachs is stark
The UK economy is worse off today than before #Brexit, costing our economy 5% versus other comparable countries
Due to 3 key factors:
- reduced trade
- weaker business investment
- lower immigration from the EU
Politicians must be honest and decisive, and act to repair the damage by starting on the road to #RejoinEU - anything else is leaving our country and future generations poorer, less safe and secure, and less happy and healthy
We are stronger together!

I asked Gillian Keegan on @LBC re the NAO report & Panorama
🔹"700,000 children are having to learn in Crumbling Schools. Aren't you ashamed of that?"
🔹She dodged. Claimed I was talking about RAAC. I wasn't. RAAC is only a part of the problem.
🔹She smirked.
🔹She didn't apologise for children having to wear gloves & coats in class.
🔹and she blocked me on Twitter @GillianKeegan 🤷🏼♀️
There you go.
Another Tory Story
What a shambles
BTW Michael Gove stopped the schools building programme in 2010 and Tories have been running schools down ever since
NEWS
UK government is seen as becoming even MORE CORRUPT falling to its lowest score on global index.

Illegal prescribing and diagnoses being missed.
@TheBMA asking House of Lords to kick legislation back as doctors now being replaced by Physician Associates, despite PAs only completing a two-year postgraduate course.
Government says these new checks are crucial to UK’s bio-security but has postponed implementing them five times since Brexit. Truth is, Brexit requires these checks, not bio-security.
Brexit: an utterly idiotic act of self-harm peddled by narcissistic charlatans or fools.
Public services - broken
Transport - broken
Social care - broken
Local councils - broken
Justice system - broken
Housing - broken
Social inequality - worse
Cost of living - ruinous
How dare these Tory dismals be annoyed that we’re not swayed by their glaringly cynical tax cuts.
It’s worth watching Martin Lewis pull Jeremy Hunt up on his politicking nonsense of "everyone will be better off".
Martin's precision with numbers is superb. Hunt left floundering.
He can't bluster with Lewis 👍🏼👍🏼 love it
Your reminder...
In 2021 Sunak cut the money given to the Environment Agency to maintain existing flood protection schemes
Reduced it by £34m to £201m
And then to £194m the following year
For context:
Amount spent on Rwanda plan to date:
£290m.

And meanwhile the liars and crooks and charlatans who delivered it are handing out gongs to each other. In a proper democracy they would be serving his Majesty in very different places. With bars
Why do broadcasters never play some of these clips back to the lying charlatans who gave us Brexit, instead of just inviting them on for the next set of nonsenses they wish to peddle?
For all the attention on Michelle Mone, let’s not forget that incompetent ministers created a corrupt system through which billions in taxpayer cash was handed to their mates and donors.
None of this would’ve happened if the government hadn’t allowed it to happen.
Reminder:
Immigration is NOT the reason that you CANT get a hospital appointment
Immigration is THE ONLY reason that you CAN get a hospital appointment
An NHS is only surviving on immigrant doctors, nurses & support staff
If you want to blame someone, think who’s in power….
So morally bankrupt & unworkable Rwanda Bill passes 2nd Reading 313 to 269 - helped by plenty of Tories who “reluctantly” said they could support the “principles” of the Bill. But the principles are precisely overriding the courts & disregarding the law. Shame on them
Just heard the Home Secretary stand up in Parliament and declare that "the British people support the Rwanda plan".
I'm sick of these guys telling me what I support.
I do not support the "Rwanda plan".
If you don't either, please retweet.
As the Governor of @bankofengland#AndrewBailey finally admits, Britain’s growth outlook is ‘worst I’ve ever seen’, as Britain struggles to boost low levels of #EconomicGrowth - and raises concerns over the UK’s future prospects
The room is getting crowded with elephants!
- capitalism focused on just profit is not fit for the future. We need to think of people, profit & planet
- cutting immigration hobbles economic growth
- need to start on the road to #RejoinEU - trading without barriers with our closest and biggest trading block.

Interesting question yday from @DavidLinden MP
"Does Dowden think it's acceptable that Michelle Mone has more ability to scrutinise David Cameron than members of this house?"
Cameron, of course, put Mone into Lords for no apparent reason (Tories eh?)
Declared a gift of underwear valued at more than £140 from her when PM.
And to my knowledge has never passed comment on the disgraceful PPE MEDPRO contracts for over £200 million, her denials, and now admittance, to her involvement in it.
Remarkable
Good to know we have the highest tax burden since 1948
AND
the biggest drop in living standards since records began
AND
the most decrepit public services and public infrastructure.
Seems the Tories have spectacularly ballsed it for us while making damn sure it’s ok for them.
I'm wondering if the Chancellor will mention tomorrow's almost certain announcement of a 5% rise in the Energy Price Cap in January? I'm guessing not. #AutumnStatement
Jeremy Hunt & #AutumnStatement
Living standards forecast to be 3.5% lower next year than pre pandemic.
LARGEST DROP IN LIVING STANDARDS SINCE RECORDS BEGAN
