💬 "I am dying. Of cancer and of cold. I honestly don’t know which will get me first."
Being kept in the cold and facing bills you can’t afford to pay is a reality faced by many, like Helen, who is 76 and lives alone. 👇
This week’s #AutumnStatement was extremely disappointing for those experiencing the financial impact of a terminal illness.
⌛️ But there’s still time for @Jeremy_Hunt to take action this winter 👇

Huge thanks to @Iancourts01 and @solihullmayor from Solihull Council and to @andy4wm for joining us, and to Amelia Blackburn and Hazel Carter for speaking so powerfully about their personal experiences of Marie Curie services.
Yesterday we celebrated the 10th anniversary of Marie Curie’s West Midlands Hospice in Solihull. We
were joined by more than 200 people – staff, volunteers and patients and carers past and present – to reflect on all the great work that has happened there over the last decade.
