We are thrilled to announce an expansion of our partnership with Knox Hydrate, locking in the world’s fastest-growing hydration brand as the club’s Official Front-of-Shirt Partner in a three-year deal.
Knox Hydrate branding will proudly feature on the front of all matchday shirts for the Men’s first team, Newcastle United Women, and the Academy teams from the start of the 2026-27 season.

Newcastle United’s unannounced new shirt sponsor, KNOX Hydration, has heavily teased a major commercial rollout in the United Kingdom.
The update comes shortly after Newcastle launched their new 2026/27 Adidas home kit without a front-of-shirt sponsor. While fans were able to purchase the clean shirts last week, The Gazette previously revealed that the club had already secured a massive behind-the-scenes deal to be unveiled later this summer.
KNOX, a South African hydration drink brand that has never been sold in the UK, is gearing up for a widespread product launch. The brand's official UK Instagram account (@KNOXHydrateUK) recently posted a promotional image of its beverage can with the caption:
“It’s almost time! KNOX arrives in the UK next week! Stay tuned for more!”
Beyond appearing on the matchday kits, the brand has also secured the naming rights for Newcastle’s training facilities. Starting July 1, Darsley Park will officially be rebranded as "The KNOX."
The incoming partnership follows the conclusion of Newcastle's three-year, front-of-shirt deal with Sela. While the overall value of the new package with KNOX is higher—estimated at £80 million—the structure of the deal reveals a shifting approach to Premier League sponsorships:
👕 Shirt Sponsorship Alone: Valued at roughly £60 million. The contract is structured as an initial £10 million for the first season, escalating to £25 million for seasons two and three.
🏟️ Training Ground Rights: Bundled into the deal at an additional £18 million.
📈 Performance Bonuses: Various performance-related add-ons push the total valuation to the £80 million mark.
Though the standalone shirt sponsorship is technically lower than the previous Sela agreement, club insiders are reportedly highly optimistic about the partnership. Executives view the deal as a strong financial result in a notoriously difficult and heavily scrutinised sponsorship market.
Newcastle will soon officially unveil the updated 2026/27 home kit featuring the KNOX Hydration branding.

🇮🇹 As it stands no decision to make for #nufc as no bid anywhere near their asking price. Man City are also keen.
Newcastle need to plot their next steps in this window very carefully. Tonali seemingly keen to explore other opportunities. #nufc also working on multiple incoming deals...
🚨 EXCL: Newcastle United have REJECTED an offer of around £80m from Tottenham for Sandro Tonali.
❌ Spurs’ offer for Tonali landed earlier this week and was knocked back by Newcastle — immediately.
✍🏼 Man City are also very keen on the midfielder, but are prioritising their move for former Newcastle man Elliot Anderson.

Really interesting comments from Amanda Staveley.
Their Sports and Media Fund is partnering with (amongst others) the Reubens with regard to potential purchases of Football Clubs, but seemingly no interest (for now) from PIF.
