When I see posts about teachers who complain, have bad attitudes. Etc. My first question is has anyone ever asked them why? Yes some teachers shouldn’t teach, but how many have been treated poorly, felt unsupported, voiceless, powerless & unappreciated. Maybe there’s a reason.
Teachers, As you interview for new positions, ask the admin questions too. What is their leadership style. How do they exhibit it? How do the improve morale, how do they support teachers? etc. If they can't or are uncomfortable answering these, proceed w/ caution.
Want to thank a teacher?
Send their principals an email to inform them of the impact/hardwork the teacher does for your child and the children in your child’s class.

Admin who feel overwhelmed, it’s ok to have an off day. Your staff doesn’t expect you to be perfect. Just give your best & let them know you are all in this together. This gives them trust in you & appreciation for you. & Staff let them know you appreciate them.
If a parent asks how they can help their child succeed in school, please start with the BASICS:
•Proper sleep & nutrition
•Challenge them
•Every child should read a minimum of 30 min/day 📖
•Play. Helps kids with problem solving, working with others, & sharing

My students suggested that we should add a course on environmental or climate issue in our curriculum... they believe we are not educated enough in the matter... what do you think? #education#environnement#climatechange
@ScribblingDrake@mrmikeMTL We always assume the students know how to use the technology but they don’t! If they don’t know how to use it how can they learn?
@nataliekorb I always let the students eat in my classroom. The only « bad » thing about it online is that they can’t share their lunch if it’s tasty 🙄
