Great find! Here’s another culprit in Ohio: Five Rivers Health Centers.

Five Rivers calls itself a charity for poor people in Dayton, Ohio, but their own numbers tell a different story. They just finished building the largest FQHC facility in Ohio, a brand new $31 million campus, and they’ve curated an impressive art collection of over 125 pieces hanging in their clinics, with more acquisitions on the way.

They also are using the 340B program to pad their bottom line. They buy drugs at cost, then mark them up over 150%, turning $9 million in medication costs into $23 million in pharmacy revenue. That profit has more than quadrupled since 2021.

They’re using the same playbook as the group in California, they partner with 90 contract pharmacies, most of them big national chains like CVS, some as far away as Arizona and Florida. Not exactly a local safety-net clinic serving Dayton's poor.

And while all this money rolls in, their CEO just happens to be the Chair of the Ohio Association of Community Health Centers, which is the very lobbying group fighting to keep 340B exactly as it is without any reform.

A $31 million building. An impressive art collection. Millions in drug markups. And a direct line to the lobbyists protecting the program they're abusing.

This is what we’re up against. @realDonaldTrump and his administration is right to call for major reform to this program.

"They've agreed to it, they've agreed to the inspectors," the President said.

IAEA Director General Rafael Grossi, during a press conference earlier today, echoed the U.S. position that inspections will take place .

"This is going to happen," Grossi said.
