CLASSIC Q ✨ Winner of the GI Just a Game Stakes

Last seen securing her first graded win on Kentucky Derby Day in the GII Longines Churchill Distaff Turf Mile Stakes, the @markecasse-trained 4-year-old daughter of Classic Empire doubled up on Belmont Stakes Day, capturing the $500,000 GI Just a Game Stakes at Saratoga in front-running fashion.

She became the third Grade I winner for her trainer during the Belmont Stakes Racing Festival, following Counting Stars (Honor A. P.) in the GI DraftKings Acorn Stakes and Nitrogen (Medaglia d'Oro) in the GI Ogden Phipps Stakes.

Securing a career-first Grade I victory, Classic Q finished 1 1/4 lengths on top while getting the mile in 1:32.84. The course record, set in 2019 by Got Stormy, is 1:32.

The former $40,000 Keeneland September yearling has earned $1,349,865 in her 15-start career with five wins, three seconds and a third.

Bred by Winning Bloodstock, Classic Q is owned by Gary Barber, Blue Crevalle Racing, and Eclipse Thoroughbred Partners. She was ridden by @ljlmvel.

Levi-Montalcini was awarded the Nobel Prize in Physiology or Medicine in 1986 jointly with Stanley Cohen for their discoveries of growth factors. This provided us with a deeper understanding of medical problems like deformities, senile dementia, delayed wound healing and tumour diseases.
