A new $2.7 million funding from @SwedeninKE to @TradeMarkAfrica is set to boost Kenya’s trade competitiveness by unlocking $3 million in export value for women- and youth-led MSMEs and catalysing at least $5 million in private investment in green logistics infrastructure.

Announced earlier today, the two-year Kenya Enhanced Trade Environment and Inclusion (KETEI) programme will support Kenya’s transition to sustainable and inclusive trade, aligned with its commitments under the @AfCFTA

#KETEI will strengthen port efficiency, improve climate-smart infrastructure, and provide MSMEs with targeted support to meet emerging climate-linked export standards.

The initiative is part of TMA’s broader strategy to build resilient, low-carbon trade systems across the continent, placing women, youth, and green growth at the heart of Africa’s trade future.
