We welcomed one of Marigold’s newest Board members to HQ today! It was a pleasure meeting Laura Chitwood for a Board Orientation and tour of our facility. Orientations like these help new Board members become familiar with Marigold’s operations, culture and services.
Bighorn Library Manager, Jennifer Smith, invited our team to help with inventory earlier this week, to support them in providing their patrons with an up-to-date collection.
Inventory management ensures the collection remains organized and accessible to Bighorn Library patrons.
Our team grabbed their barcode scanners and headed to the Banff Public Library to help the staff with inventory by scanning items, cross-referencing materials, and inspecting the shelves for missing, misplaced or damaged items. Thank you Kelly Turpin for the photos!

Today, Marigold is hosting the Municipal Affairs Public Library Services Branch (PLSB) bi-annual Indigenous Liaison Meeting at our headquarters in Strathmore. Attendees include representatives from libraries and communities across the province in addition to PLSB staff.
