Before American voters go to the election polls, think about your vote. Do you want to continue to have closed & guarded U.S. borders that keep crime down? Do you want Americans to have first chance over illegal immigrants? Do you want prosperous U.S.? Vote Republican candidates.

Able bodied folks need to get up & make paycheck or start a business to provide for their families. U.S. Govt. isn't suppose to support folks. For those who need help during a low or gap period for low income folks, nonprofits will step in to help them if blessed Americans give!

How about this Republican & Democratic lawmakers, tax on ultrarich & wealthy Americans to help disaster victims rebuild & help with expensive meds to help kids & others with life threatening diseases. Because FEMA & Medicaid & insurance companies cannot handle all of the costs.

I watch from time to time, TV show, The Shark Tank, where hopeful entrepreneurs present their businesses to the financial capitalists, the sharks, for financial backing & advice. If the sharks are interested in investing, they offer them a money deal. This is what built the U.S.!

Heard Sen. Sanders speaking on Fox TV News last night. He's correct the rich are getting richer, middle class getting poorer. However, his solution, socialism, isn't the answer. Socialism stinks. U.S. is a free enterprise system. Greed is a sin that needs to be confessed to God.

This coming holiday season be sure to give to your favorite charities generously if you are financially able. U.S. Snap benefits are going to be cut to encourage people to get out & work. But these people have kids & little ones who non-profits help. So, give this year regularly.

Here's filling, economical meal for your family. Favorite can of your family's favorite beans, drained. Several cut up small potatoes or pasta cooked w/ your favorite frozen vegies. When they're done, drain. Throw in can of beans & mix together. Top casserole with grated cheese.

This cat is friendly. That's how I got our male Siamese cat, he just come into our backyard & stayed. We think he was abused because he did not want to come into our house for a good while. He finally did come in & made a sweet pet. Good luck with your new cat.

We Houstonians are so proud of our Houston Astros for their win of the AWL. They have slugged their way through this difficult baseball season & prevailed to win. Now onto the playoffs for the World Series! Go 'Stros!

One of the healthiest dishes you can eat is homemade chicken soup. I am fixing some today. It doesn't matter what you cook in your version. I usually put some type of pasta & mixed frozen vegies, faster to cook. The main ingredient is the chicken & broth. Really good when sick.
