As a First Gen college graduate, IU McKinney School of Law changed the trajectory of my life. I’m incredibly honored that @GovBraun appointed me to the @IndianaUniv Board of Trustees. I am ready to roll up my sleeves and work to ensure that IU delivers the highest academic value and experience to its students. IU is critical to the state’s efforts to attract/retain employers, educate our future workforce and elevate wages across our state. GO HOOSIERS!
Prayers for the Scrogham family 🙏. We don’t have to live like this. Law and order is led from the top. I remember when Indy was safe and I could take my young kids downtown at night, walk the canal. And, we all know those days are gone. In our hearts we all expect that, when caught, the shooter will have multiple arrests and be freely walking around to commit this murder. And, if that happens, we’ll hear more excuses and blaming, but we’ll never hear personal accountability for the decisions that led to this loss of young precious life 💔
Horrific update to breaking news I reported on Thursday.
The young man shot in the parking garage in downtown Indianapolis near the convention center has died.
The Marion County coroner confirms 23-year-old Brett Scrogham died from his injuries.
Multiple sources have told me and I have confirmed through IU’s online records that Scrogham recently graduated from IU’s Kelley School of Business and was named one of the top in his class.
Multiple sources also tell me that Brett was parking in the garage downtown near the convention center to attend the Indians game with his family when he was shot.
We have reached out to IMPD to see if an arrest has been made in this case and we are still waiting to hear back.
More to come.
@BeauBayhsDiary@HistoryNut_1945@TheGOPRedneck Unfollowing this account. Its not funny and its beneath the GOP. There’s enough legitimate issues in the SOS race that you don’t need to stoop this low.

Indiana University is proud to announce a new strategic partnership with @zimmerbiomet, designed to advance new technologies and approaches that improve joint replacement, bone healing, mobility and the treatment of musculoskeletal injuries, while preparing students for careers in one of Indiana’s most competitive industries.
Over the course of a three-year agreement, IU Launch Accelerator for Biosciences (IU LAB) and Zimmer Biomet will collaborate on research and development, technical training and credentialing, and workforce development initiatives, with an emphasis on meeting the evolving needs of Indiana’s orthopedic sector.

Victor Glover, pilot of NASA’s Artemis II mission, shared a message that’s simple—but deeply powerful:
“We need Jesus—whether on Earth or circling the moon.”
As Glover is one of 4 astronauts who traveled 252,756 miles from Earth, the farthest any human has traveled in decades, his words remind us that success never replaces our need for God.
Glover doesn’t separate his faith from his work—he lives it. From bringing a Bible into space to openly worshiping, he demonstrates that no level of achievement outgrows our dependence on Christ.
No matter where we go—Earth, orbit, or beyond—we still need Him!
