Today marks the first day of school for the 2020-21 School Year. We are poised and prepared to meet inevitable uncertainties with resilience, grit, and creative thinking. This has always been the MA way.
This stood out: "I want you to know that you matter...that your lives matter, that your dreams matter; and when I go home and look at the faces of my daughters...and I look at my nephews and nieces, I see limitless potential that deserves to flourish and thrive."-President Obama
Happy Giving Day! So much gratitude for the MA community showing their support on our 4th Annual Giving Day. Follow our four fun videos throughout the day and see the MA experience through the eyes of our beloved Wildcat. You can catch all the action at https://t.co/8tGbmJ14sF

Join us May 15 for virtual Night of the Arts! We are celebrating the senior art students for their dedication and hard work throughout their time at MA. A digital exhibition will launch on MA’s website with representative work from every senior. Stay tuned for more details!
From Fractals to Neural Networks more than 150 people joined us last night for MA's Math Night incl. students, parents, alumni & more! It was a wildly successful & illuminating evening w/ our student presenters and much congratulations goes to everyone who helped make it happen🙏
Our faculty continue to rise to the occasion during this tough time. We recently had faculty members hard at work donating to our healthcare workforce: N95 masks, gloves, sanitizer, & some who even took MA's 3D printers home to produce face shield parts to distribute! #community
Our work spaces have changed. Teaching and learning evolve and we still need to find time for the things that sustain us. Rereading the poetry of Elizabeth Bishop. What are you reading this weekend?
It was great to have MA alum, Piper Crowell '03, at this year's Conference on Democracy & hear about her run to be mayor of Portland! We love seeing alumni engage in the democratic process. Read our interview w/ her & find out more about her mayoral run https://t.co/Djo2vegslP
Thanks to alum, Anya Greenberg '03 for helping with the critical shortage of blood supply caused by the coronavirus pandemic. #theMAcircle https://t.co/iONHgQvMJp
One of the most important things #parents & #teachers can do is model calm, peace & even gratitude in the midst of uncertainty, anxiety & not-knowing. To develop this skill for the future, children need to see it modeled. #leadership#education#parenting#remotelearning
At @marinacademy we are holding our community close while recognizing the opportunities presented by COVID-19. Our portal, already made distance learning real by defying the time space continuum. We are meeting challenges with compassion, grace, and a sense of possibility.
