Being an independent product designer comes with many challenges. The biggest: finding people who believe in your vision and are willing to help bring to life the products you truly believe matter-products that stand for something meaningful, rather than just following trends.
The Vela lamp always comes out well in paper, perhaps because when I designed it, I was thinking of a plain metal sheet, which is very similar to thin cardboard.

The beauty of paper is dangerous.
