In the worst day of your life
The world won’t stop for you, it won’t allow you to catch your breath
Or give a moment rest
Life doesn’t gently feed you the reality
It throws everything down your throat whether you’re ready or not
In those darkest moments know there is hope
Emptying my home reminded me what is important
Emptying my home filled me with sadness
Emptying my home reminded me I don’t need more
I need less so I don’t miss more
Emptying my home gave me freedom to do what I want to do
Collecting experiences, not possessions
Emptying my home gave me freedom
To finally understand what’s really important in this short period of time we spend here on earth
It's about collecting experiences, not possessions
The freedom to experience life at its fullest
Your stories are more valuable than you think
Your stories, like mine, don’t just capture attention
They offer value, insight, and show authenticity
When honest and heartfelt, people will remember you and your stories
They'll remember how you make them feel
They'll remember you
That's how valuable they are
When enough is enough?
When wanting ceases to be. No insecurity, no comparison.
Being satisfied only what you are, have and what you do
When you get there, you experience contentment
You know you have and you are enough
We undervalue quiet, peace, and solitude
It’s not all our fault
We live in a life where we are constantly bombarded with noise
There is this constant barrage of distractions, demands, and doubts that clutter our minds and spread thin our focus
Breathe deeply and let you mind settle
It’s in the small quiet pauses we start to recognize just how much noise has been filling our mind
It’s okay to ask for help
Life can sometimes feel like a hellhole
Realise you can’t do this by yourself
Asking for help is not a sign of weakness but a sign of courage
A sign of growth and wisdom
Writing is the best way to express myself
It has shown me that an average person with a keyboard can make a small dent on the planet,
Not all in one go, but with a commitment to doing it frequently
Influencing the lives of many, all beyond the written pages
Curiosity is the engine-driving intention
It's the ignition switch that causes us to ask questions, pushing us to explore, learn, and grow
Without curiosity, we grow stale and fall into habits
We stop seeing the world in new and sometimes fresh ways
Curiosity is for those who wish to live fully, to live deliberately
And to live creatively
Technology has been growing exponentially
No matter how hard we try to keep up, we can't.
This creates stress, anxiety, and fear
We lose a part of ourselves
We grow dependent on technology while something inside us dies
We feel hollow and empty
This year I learned to step back and let go
Enjoying more life, all the beauty surrounding me
It’s everywhere
Doing so, we feel connected, we feel alive
We find ourselves again
Find something that is new and different
Something you can't wait to share it with the world
You can't sit in front of a laptop and feed prompts to AI to write the piece for you
You have to go out and take risks
Experience life
Life experiences give you something different to say
Your work stands out
Embracing your dirt makes you more human
Embracing your dirt will allow you to attract the right people around you
You're not afraid to show your cracks as a person
Showing who you truly are will turn some people off - and that's ok
This will make you feel uncomfortable.
It feels weird being so open about our imperfections
We're afraid of what others would say
When you embrace exactly as you are, a human
You’ll be a better storyteller
