Judeline speaks about ROSALÍA in a recent interview, revealing that the singer supported her when she faced criticism for being frequently compared to her.

“Obviously, she has always been an inspiration and a role model for me and my entire generation. When I arrived in Madrid, she was the artist we all looked up to.

I would love to collaborate with her. I follow everything she does very closely, and I hope it happens one day. But I think it would be interesting to leave it until later, when I have a better understanding of the sound I’m developing.

She is the queen of Spain, you know? I imagine she always keeps an eye on what’s happening and on the artists emerging here.

She was the first to reach out to me and show me support. She told me, ‘Girl, I really like what you do. Congratulations!’ She was the first major artist to show me respect.

This was at a time when I was facing a lot of criticism and constantly being compared to her, with people saying things like, ‘Oh no, she’s some kind of Rosalía.’ Rather than distancing herself, she welcomed me and showed me respect. I’m incredibly grateful for that because her support meant a lot to me at the time.

I believe she supports all artists in Spain. She keeps an eye on what’s happening.”

ROSALÍA has officially wrapped up the LUX TOUR with 57 completely sold-out shows across 17 countries, reaching thousands of people.
