@IRSnews @YourVoiceAtIRS YOU can’t recognize it even when taxpayers paper file & include an ID theft affidavit & certified copy of the police report. Legit returns are processed as an amendment to fraudulent returns, & refunds held hostage for 18 months & counting… Tax advocates have been useless.
