This Jason Arday case has reminded me of another.
George Abaraonye got into Oxford PPE with ABB A-levels. The standard offer is AAA.
He was admitted through contextual offers for state-school, free-school-meals, first-generation students. That’s the system.
He then became Oxford Union President-Elect.
In May 2025 he stood on the Oxford Union stage and debated Charlie Kirk face to face.
Four months later, when Kirk was assassinated, Abaraonye’s immediate reaction was “Charlie Kirk got shot, let’s fucking go” and “loool”.
When he was called out, the response was the usual one: partial apology, then “my words were no less insensitive than his”, then heavy emphasis on the racist abuse he received, and claims that the backlash was racially motivated.
This is the pattern. Lower the entry bar on identity grounds. Watch the person act with entitlement and contempt. When the behaviour is indefensible, pivot to racism and cancel culture.
You sat opposite the man and debated him. Then you celebrated his murder. That tells us everything we need to know about the character the system chose to elevate. DEI needs to DIE.
