I do wonder now how many people will suffer from this overturn because their body terminates a pregnancy on its own, simply because a doctor doesn’t believe them. Statistically, doctors distrust uterus-owning persons & POC moreso than white men.

I keep thinking about how my miscarriages are denoted in my medical records. There are codes for spontaneous abortion, but I have had doctors question that I didn’t seek to cause loss. None of them were entered in the same way. I wonder how that would affect someone like me now.

To be clear, I believe any uterus-owning person should be able to choose what happens in their body regardless of reasoning simply because it is their body. Abortions are valid healthcare. Period.

I’m trying to wrap my head around the reality that we can’t seem to make amendments for gun rights to save lives, but we can continually strip rights from women & POC & anyone not conservative YT & cis male & I’ve decided it will never make sense to me.
