I was threatened with being thrown in the cells and being 'done over', so I left.

About 35 years ago I was briefly detained in Dover Police Station one evening and questioned about a minor offence. I was eventually released but I complained that I couldn't get home, I lived in a different part of east Kent, as the last train had left.
