On This Day — July 15, 1967

Israel had just survived an existential war — and Defense Minister Moshe Dayan was “waiting for a telephone call.”

Dayan and Foreign Minister Abba Eban made it clear Israel was ready to be “unbelievably generous” for peace.

The phone never rang.

Instead, on July 15, Arab leaders met and agreed on “the necessary effective steps to eliminate the consequences of imperialist Israeli aggression.”

Translation: no recognition, no negotiation, no peace. Just rearmament and another attempt to destroy the world’s only Jewish state.

Egypt’s Nasser declared he was preparing his forces for the next battle. The Soviet Union rushed in over 200 MiG fighter jets in weeks. The infamous “Three No’s” of Khartoum (no peace, no recognition, no negotiation) were already taking shape.

While Israel hoped for peace, the Arab world prepared for the next war.

And something else shifted in the West.

The image of the Jew as gentle, meek, even saintly — the Holocaust survivor, the intellectual, the victim — began to change. In its place emerged the “tough Jew”: the Israeli fighter, the Mossad operative, the muscular Zionist who would no longer go quietly.

Some celebrated it. Others quietly recoiled.

The irony was brutal. After centuries of being accused of weakness, Jews who finally defended themselves were now accused of being too strong.

The popular narrative loves to paint Israel as the eternal aggressor. But in the summer of 1967, the real story was this: Israel won a defensive war against overwhelming odds, offered to trade land for peace, and received rejection, rearmament, and renewed vows of destruction.

Some defeats are never accepted. Some victories are never forgiven.

Professor Dave, who teaches philosophy at the University of Hawaii at Manoa, just posted this:

“Once these ICE agents are hanging from a rope after their trial… we get to go up to their families and literally drink their tears. We get to quench our thirst with their tears… everyone’s laughing and pointing at their family members, taking joy in the suffering of their family members.”

In other clips, which are uploaded in the comments, Professor Dave calls for spitting in the National Guard’s face (calling them traitors), says they should “take up their arms and turn them toward ice,” labels ICE “gestapo secret police” and “no better than yahtzees,” and claims abolishing ICE is the “moderate position” while demanding prosecutions.

In another video, he plays the sound of a woman screaming while he laughs under the caption “This will be laughing to the reaction of an ICE agents family after one gets melted.”

This isn’t philosophy. This is sickening incitement and revenge fantasy. A Professor of Philosophy — the field built on reason, ethics, and critical thinking — is out here celebrating graphic fantasies of lynching federal agents and sadistically enjoying the suffering of their families.

Almost every one of Dave’s videos calls for graphic violence.

I think we are watching a real-life version of The Apprentice right now with Marco Rubio.

Years ago, one of Trump’s sons told me that his dad had a strict rule for his kids: If you ever want to take over this business, you have to know EVERY SINGLE JOB. That's what I believe he's doing with Rubio. He has worn four hats at the same time—Secretary of State, USAID Director, National Security Advisor, even Acting Archivist of the United States. If there is a fire anywhere on the planet, Trump tells Marco to go out and hold the hose.

A lot of the men who crossed into Israel on October 7 made it back home and tried to return to normal life.

They went back to their neighborhoods, their families, and whatever passed for a routine. Some of them probably told themselves that the worst was over.

After all, they had survived the raid, the fighting, and the initial wave of retaliation. In their minds, time was now on their side. The world would move on, the headlines would fade, and eventually they could just be regular people again.

That was the mistake.

Israel didn’t treat October 7 like a regular wartime event that eventually gets archived. They treated it like a crime scene with thousands of pieces of evidence and an extremely long memory. While some of these men were busy trying to blend back into civilian life, Israel was busy matching faces from bodycam footage, cross-referencing names from captured phones, and following the trails that came out of interrogations. They weren’t in a rush. They were building files.

There’s something almost darkly funny about watching men who participated in that level of barbarism try to go back to being husbands, mechanics, or neighbors, as if the footage of what they did would eventually expire like old milk. They really believed that if they just kept their heads down long enough, the whole thing would become yesterday’s news.

It didn’t.

Israel kept the receipts. And unlike most governments, they’ve shown zero interest in letting the statute of limitations run out on mass murder and rape. The slow, steady announcements of individual deaths aren’t random. They’re the result of patient, methodical work on men who made the critical error of assuming they could commit atrocities and then simply return to ordinary life like nothing happened.

Some mistakes don’t get smaller with time. They just get documented.

This is the thing…

My life changed more than most because of the stolen 2020 election. I started Stop the Steal and was the permit holder for the Save America Rally at the White House Ellipse on January 6. For that, I spent the last five years as a target of the federal government, including Arctic Frost.

So if this speech is going to finally present the evidence of wrongdoing on this scale, it cannot end as just another news cycle. There must be arrests, prosecutions, and accountability… not another round of headlines followed by silence.

Otherwise, the political consequences will be enormous. Republicans will become even more disillusioned, convinced the system is beyond repair and not show up in midterm elections, while Democrats will be energized to turn out in even greater numbers this November.

The American people have heard allegations for years and are tired of nothing happening. If this is truly the moment the government intends to present its case, then it has to be followed by decisive action. Anything less won’t restore confidence, it will only deepen the distrust and leave millions wondering why accountability never follows the accusations.
