America will be united, or we will discover that history has no sympathy for divided people.
We will be united, or someone else will unite us under their terms.
And we may not like them.
I know this is very much "our humor"...but having thought of it for a day...this is it.
Serious as a heart attack. This is it, just have 09/11/2001 - 08/30/2021 on the marble.
Put it in Section 60. Call it even.
Stars, stripes, and the lands we protect.
On Flag Day, we recognize the wildland firefighters and support personnel who work every day to safeguard the public lands these colors represent.
If you’re heading outdoors today, know before you go. Check local fire restrictions, recreate responsibly, and help prevent wildfires.
Enjoy your public lands. Help protect them, too.
All the Europeans who didn’t travel to America for the World Cup are going to be inundated with tales of a giant, beaver-owned gas station that sells BBQ and beef jerky when their friends get home.
It’ll be like Homer singing the Odyssey at dinner parties.
If MREs are good enough for our troops, why not for welfare?
What if EBT was replaced with monthly MRE deliveries,
8 cases per person. No misuse. No luxury. Just food.
Needs met. Problem solved!
“The flag was still there.”
Long before it flew at ballgames and front porches across America, the flag flying over Fort McHenry National Monument and Historic Shrine became a symbol of survival during the War of 1812.
After enduring hours of British bombardment, the fort’s enormous flag remained standing at sunrise, inspiring “The Star-Spangled Banner.”
This Flag Day, we honor the history, sacrifice, and stories behind the stars and stripes. 🇺🇸

Happy Flag Day, America. 🇺🇸
The stars and stripes have been there for every chapter of this country's story. And in 20 days they'll be there for its biggest birthday yet.
So go ahead and fly it proud, today and every day.
Flag Day ~ Don't ever disrespect our flag 🇺🇸
-It represents the men who froze at Valley Forge
-The soldiers who stormed Normandy
-The Marines who raised it at Iwo Jima
- The buried under white crosses
Drop a flag 🇺🇸 in the comments... If you're proud to be an American today
On this day, we honor the flag of the greatest nation in history — and those who fought and died for the freedoms it represents.
May God continue to bless our homeland and our people.
“Legolas of the Woodland Realm. My goodness look at you, so handsome. Isn’t he handsome folks? His dad’s a great guy too. Great guy. A lot of people say the Sindar are a scared people but not me. I think they’re brave. Thranduil, we give him a lot of money in foreign aid.”
