So now every time they tell taxpayers why government desperately needs more of our money…

If you’re going to campaign against taxpayers keeping more of their own money, you’d better be prepared for taxpayers to inspect how you spent the money you already got.

Florida taxpayers have been taking the haircut for YEARS.

Homes cost more.
Food costs more.
Electricity costs more.
Insurance costs more.
Property taxes cost more.

Families adjusted. We cut things. We delayed things. We made it work.

But when taxpayers demand relief, suddenly government acts like cutting ITS budget is unthinkable.

That’s the part they never explain:

Why is the taxpayer always expected to adjust, but government never is?

Amendment 3 puts property-tax relief directly before Florida voters.

We’ve been taking the haircut.

Now government can sit in the chair.

You left out the most obvious option:

Re-budget.

Government does not have to cut essential services, raise rates, add fees, or replace every lost dollar. What a concept.

It can eliminate nonessential spending, delay discretionary projects, reprioritize existing dollars, and simply spend less.

And Florida law will now specifically require local governments to examine that option. (as of 1/1/27)

Municipalities: Florida Statute §166.241(3)(b) requires a budget-reduction exercise identifying ways to potentially cut the next year’s budget by 10% without compromising essential public services such as police and fire, or legal obligations.

Counties: Florida Statute §129.03(3)(d) requires the same 10% budget-reduction exercise, again specifically without compromising essential public services.

So your list of choices literally leaves out an option Florida law requires counties and cities to examine:

Spend less while protecting essential services.

You keep treating the existing budget as untouchable and taxpayer revenue as the adjustable number.

That assumption is the FLAW in your argument.

A dishonest press is an assault on democracy & on the Republic.
And what the President says is true. It is also not hard to understand. The media look for ways to tear Pres Donald Trump down every minute of every day. The most powerful man on the planet has been under constant assault for years without ceasing, no change in sight. The number of biased/fake/dishonest stories they’ve run could take us to Mars and back countless times. It never stops. And when they are proven to be wrong or lying, they never correct the record fully or apologize. Ever.

When Pres Trump left office, the assaults continued. Why would he expect honesty from them? Or integrity? Balance? They have not shown anything but well-funded, targeted animosity. Most of them want him dead.

So you have to ask yourself, did they just assume that besides insulting them to their faces, he would never fight back? Did they think he would let it continue indefinitely to the detriment of the nation, as well as the man? If they did, they just found out they were wrong. They failed. Pres Trump is obviously not afraid to take this fight to the Supreme Court & in the meantime, he is building his own channels/means of communicating with the American people. He does not have to go through a dishonest broker. Where does it say that in the constitution? It does not.

I can tell you as a journalist for more than 35 years, there is no way any news organization can consistently get so many things completely wrong unless they are ideologically blinded &/or knowingly/intentionally suppress the truth in violation of the tenets of real journalism. All these false stories blasted across the world are evidence of journalistic malpractice carried out by the mainstream media for YEARS. Not a single error run once by a single institution - these lies were multiplied across countless media outlets & broadcast non-stop. In most cases, thousands & thousands of stories. There were never any meaningful apologies or corrections & once the truth was completely exposed/indisputable, their dishonest behavior continued to the detriment of the audience/readers & the nation as a whole.

In some cases this went far beyond journalistic malpractice to conspiracy - not a made up “conspiracy theory” to silence dissent - but a real one where journalists/editors/owners were conspiring with political operatives/sources to run fabricated information warfare campaigns against the President in order to subvert his rule & paralyze government function. These are well-funded, professional, targeted operations that are a betrayal of everything the press is supposed to stand for in the land of the free. Not only that, the worst offenders were rewarded for their efforts, with multi-million dollar salaries, cushy assignments & the top awards in journalism, sometimes for stories that were completely fabricated.

That in itself is egregious enough. But it does not begin to cover the damage done to this country. A divided America is a weak America that can be exploited by her enemies, both foreign & domestic. It has made this nation vulnerable to foreign influence operations & external threats as we have seen from the CCP, Iran & the global elite. It has prevented this country from moving forward with measures to fully protect its sovereignty & territorial integrity. In short, it has intentionally slowed the function of government which is an act of war that has in turn purposefully limited this President in his duty to uphold the will of the voters who elected him - the fact that his political enemies don’t agree/approve, does not make subversion or treason legal.
