@ostopezdo @TonyNashNerd Dealers are charging $1200 to replace all 4 pads and rotors. Independent shops might charge half that, if you're lucky. The parts alone are around $350. I'll gladly continue doing my own, and I know it's done right.

@TonyNashNerd No doubt. I just changed both front wheeled bearing/hub assemblies on my F150 last week. Paid $300 for the parts. Dealers want $1600-2000 parts and labor, FOR EACH SIDE! Changed my plugs last year in 90 minutes, and $60 for 6 Motorcraft OEM plugs. Dealers want $500-600.

@KyleSeraphin I always review the electronic medical records of my new patients before I see them. It's amazing how many physicians fail to list obesity as a medical condition/diagnosis in their history, when the patient is clearly obese (BMI of 30+).

@merlinscapital Observe the back and forth in the comments after someone asks Grok if the file/claim is real. Grok says it is fabricated. The OP provides a direct link to the file at the DOJ and Grok says it's essentially a dead link. I checked it myself, it's a valid link and file.

@DavidBCollum In August I bought a new motorcycle, a 2024 FE501, for 45% off MSRP. Couldn't pass it up. While at the shop, I saw the service rate rate: $130/hour. They sell/service primarily dirt bikes. My jaw dropped. Says a lot about discretionary spending trends and labor costs.
