today marks the end of one phase of this journey, and the beginning of the next

i am so incredibly proud of our team, of all their hard work and world-class skill that made this moment possible

i am so grateful that i get to work with my best friends (including my wife!!!) to bring real joy and connection into the world, one player at a time

i am so thrilled to welcome new players to our soft launch* of Wildcard, and watch their reactions as they experience the game for the first time

i am so blessed by the community we already have, and the opportunity we now have to lay the groundwork for a much larger community in the future

* soft launch means NO marketing/UA! (well, a few tiny test campaigns but nothing at scale yet). that's intentional, this is just the beginning of Early Access and we have several bugs and stability issues that the team is already working to address via hot fixes and patches. that's the point of Early Access after all!

regarding real marketing/UA, i'm very excited to unveil our plans to y'all soon. pretty much every game i've worked on since Words With Friends has had some kind of significant user acquisition "twist", hack, or as we like to say internally, "unfair advantage" - and i can't wait to show you, our community, what we have in store for Wildcard 😎 soon!

诺贝尔奖得主、理论物理学家杨振宁周六（10月18日）在北京逝世，享年103岁。

杨振宁被视为二十世纪最具影响力的物理学家之一。1956年，他与同是华裔物理学家的李政道共同提出宇称不守恒理论，获得诺贝尔物理学奖，成为最早获得诺贝尔奖的华人之一。

他还与罗伯特·米尔斯（Robert Mills）提出了知名的“杨-米尔斯规范场论”，成为粒子物理标准模型的基础。《科学家》（The Scientist）称该研究“重塑了现代物理学和数学”。

他所在的清华大学在一份讣告中称赞他“毕生心系家国，为祖国的科教事业作出了杰出贡献”。

“杨振宁先生的一生，是探索未知的不朽传奇，是心怀家国的永恒回响。”讣告写道。

杨振宁于1922年出生于中国合肥，父亲是一名知名的数学系教授。二战爆发后，他跟随父亲前往昆明并就读于西南联合大学，这是日本入侵中国期间，中国知识分子在避难时建立的临时学府。李政道当时亦在该校读书。

二战结束后，杨振宁前往美国芝加哥大学攻读博士学位，后来在普林斯顿高等研究院从事博士后研究工作，并开始同李政道合作。

在1957年与李政道共同获得诺贝尔奖时，杨振宁年仅35岁。在美国长期定居后，杨振宁于1964年加入了美国国籍。

杨振宁在1971年中美关系解冻后首次访问中国大陆，此后致力于帮助中国物理学界重建研究遭到文化大革命破坏的研究氛围。1986年，他推动在南开大学成立了理论物理研究室。

2015年，杨振宁放弃美国国籍，并加入中国国籍。他曾称，他的父亲“到临终时都没原谅”他放弃中国国籍的行为。

杨振宁曾在1950年与国民党名将杜聿明的女儿杜致礼结婚，育有两子一女。杜致礼在2003年病逝。

2005年1月，时年82岁的杨振宁与28岁的研究生翁帆结婚。两人的年龄差距曾引发热议。

Wildcard Is finally here!

Here are my first impressions:

⮞ For a game that's still pretty early It's super smooth and fun.
⮞ Feels a lot like a mix of paladins and League Of Legends but gives you a unique experience at the same time!
⮞ The game Is super fun! (Wouldnt expect less from a game on arbitrum)
