@DijonaiVictoria so @sophaller has “white privilege” when the referees rightly toss you for a Flagrant 2. Do you have “black privilege” to take a swipe like that? No. Why we gotta bring up race at all? Just play your game and if you’re better your game will do the talking.
@DAMIADENUGA Call #ChildProtectiveServices in your town. Show them this video and you could get custody. Keep your place clean and spend time with your kids. They need your love. First they need you to be a man and protect them from things like that. Throwing anything at a child is NOT ok.
@ESPNFANSUPPORT why in the world is @CaroWozniacki still talking so loud in between points after the crowd has gone quiet and the server is about to serve? It’s ruining the experience of watching the matches. Turn down her mic or have her whisper. Take a cue from golf broadcasts.
As grown men do you teach your children one thing and you do another? Is that how you parent? How is a handshake line good and right for little league but doesn’t apply to the adults. Seems like you guys have an integrity problem.
@GetUpESPN 100% with @stephenasmith on the handshake. It’s disappointing to hear his colleagues @RealJayWilliams and @KendrickPerkins say players have no obligation to shake hands. At the end of the day it’s all a GAME. They model petty selfishness by skipping the handshake.
@UnSportsESPN btw unsportsmanlike is the DUMBEST name for a sports show EVER. I’ve found @Chris_Broussard and his @FTFonFS1 show on Fox Sports and I’ll be listening there going forward — especially since @ChrisCanty99 thinks it’s too hard for the @NBA to have a handshake line.
Install the post-series handshake line and that strengthens the integrity of the league, and establishes a high-value, low-cost tradition. The only cost being the league — players, owners and commissioner alike — would need to agree it’s a good and worthy thing to have.
@UnSportsESPN Canty, seriously man there’s plenty of chaos on the ice after the @Canes won the #StanleyCupPlayoffs but they manage to line ‘em up & shake hands. I get there’s more ppl on court postgame but if the league could absolutely establish the tradition of a handshake line
What a cop out honestly to say there’s a lot of people on court. If it’s important for our kids to do the handshake line then so should the adults. 100%, no questions asked. Wemby leaving without shaking hands reveals the egregious erosion of character that’s happened.
@UnSportsESPN ya know those prescription drug commercials that say “Don’t take __ if you are allergic to __” Feels like that aptly encapsulates @Brendan_Sorsby2’s situation. He had a problem with betting so, ya know stay away from betting — or any trace of it. Same for the NCAA.
They’re chanting “This is what democracy looks like” while protesting Trump for being a “king.”
Think about that.
A real king wouldn’t let you protest him, and he sure wouldn’t let the government shut down.
They’re proving he’s NOT a king.
@AlexWilcoxTV Ref will be advised to vacate the area where players are celebrating to reduce the chance of something like this happening. But Greenlaw should absolutely receive disciplinary action because of his escalatory conduct.
@AlexWilcoxTV Question is why did Allen push Strnad? Looked like Allen got caught up in the celebration and was brushing off the contact It’s one thing to brush off the contact but another to follow him and point at him which anyone would receive as a threat.
