@Jediknight2079@davidjollyfl Partisan hit job. Real policy gaps get buried under “Communist,” “mutilation,” and “open borders” hyperbole aimed at Jolly, while Donalds gets pure campaign-brochure praise with zero scrutiny. Propaganda, & Lies not analysis. #TruthMatters
@JavonPrice@davidjollyfl Javon, the quote is being twisted. Jolly never said “protecting girls’ sports is disgusting,” and he never claimed “boys have a right” to compete. Donalds’ ads cut out the context to make it radical. The full remark was about getting policy, not letting males into girls’ sports.
@JenHeroldFL@davidjollyfl Another ignorant ass who doesn't know what socialism is, knows how much she lives with or could pass a final civics exam in high school. #educate#getaclue
Hey folks. Not sure where Byron Donalds is coming from in this ad, but I'm sure his DC team will try to make this stick. Afterall, he was in Congress to support and pass Donald Trump's tax package. I was long out of Congress.
You see, screaming 'socialism' didn't work for Byron, screaming 'radical' didn't work for him, vicious trans ads didn't work, so now he'll be angry about taxes this week. Next week it will be guns, then immigration, then vicious personal attacks on me down the home stretch. It's what we've come to expect from Byron.
Because it's all Byron knows - divide people, be angry and you might make others angry too. And it's what DC and the Tallahassee swamp are funding him to do in this race.
So let's lay it out there. I don't support taxing social security. And I think its fair to tax wages however they're earned, but would support relief for tips above the standard wage rate.
If I had been in Congress, I probably wouldn't have supported the Donalds-Trump tax bill because of the amount of grift, graft and raw corruption in it for the White House, for Byron's donors, and for his own self-enrichment.
You see part of this campaign is about returning to something better. First, honesty - addressing garbage like this. And second, pushing back against the raw corruption of politicians who will sell you out for a buck. That's why Byron supported the tax bill. Because his donors and the president told him to, and his family stood to benefit.
He's for them. I'm for you.
@Bad_Boy_Tos@ByronDonalds People are responding because Donalds made a claim that isn’t true. Florida cannot adopt a personal income tax unless voters amend the Florida Constitution, which currently prohibits it under Article VII, Section 5(a). Jolly couldn’t “impose” an income tax even if he wanted to.
@ByronDonalds Florida’s lack of income tax is because the state constitution prohibits it. It’s not legislative preference, not political branding, not a governor’s decision. It’s constitutional law, and changing it would require a major statewide vote. Donalds is lying to voters.
