30 years ago—August 16, 1996–I was reading Joshua 1:3–“I will give you everywhere you set you foot.” the Sunday prior we had 13 people and total income was $2000 per month. 3 decades later we own 7 properties worth $100 million debt-free. how does that happen? #GraduallyThenSuddenly God has blessings in categories we can’t conceive of and prayer is how we write history before it happens. #OnlyGod @NCC

about to begin my summer study break. when I was 21, I read a bio about Albert Einstein. page 755 changed my life. Einstein said, “Never lose a HOLY CURIOSITY.” during study break, I curate a cross-section of books—history and biography, theology and science, along with a few fiction. those books are the seedbed for upcoming books and series. some books are chosen because I love the author or subject. others I actually disagree with, but want to understand how they think. some books are new, but I mix in old books to avoid something CS Lewis called chronological snobbery. will I read all of them? wish me luck!

in the past two decades, the world has gone wild. twenty years ago, we didn’t have iPhones! how wild is that? cloud were cumulus, cookies were chocolate chip, and reels were for fishing. deepfakes and doomscrolling, AI and algorithms, are now a daily reality. how do we navigate this cultural moment? with holy courage, spiritual discernment and amazing grace. thanks for pre-orders of #NotMyCircus! check out sample chapter https://t.co/ckb4K2Pqmc
