Getting “swatted” is a life threatening scenario where an unknown person calls police and reports ongoing violence at an address, or says someone is being held at gunpoint, etc., to spur the police into sending a SWAT-type police response to someone’s home.

Today is Matthew Perna’s 42nd birthday.

He died in February of 2022 after the Joe Biden administration mercilessly bullied and tormented him for over a year.

The final straw for Matt was receiving the news that the government would seek a terrorism enhancement for his sentencing which would have added years and years of prison time.

Matt walked peacefully through the Capitol on January 6th, and saluted police officers who watched him walk by without ever asking him to leave.

I read the news of Matt’s suicide while I was serving a house arrest sentence for a crime I didn’t commit.

Matt’s story was the first thing in 13 months of hell that showed me definitively that what was being done to me and hundreds of others truly was as bad as I thought it was.

I never met him, yet he feels like family to me now. And I consider his aunt, @GeriPerna, to be family.

I know Matt’s relatives sorely miss him.

To this day, there has been no justice or recognition for what happened to Matthew Perna.
