"Can we? Can we really?" He asks for confirmation, unconsciously stepping in closer from excitement. He hasn't arranged or been to any sleepovers ever since he moved here.

@Barnaby_BPM2 "Don't worry. I'm pretty sure I can carry you. I bet you're lighter than Kay's tank." He huffs out a laugh, propping his elbow up on the back of the couch and leaning his face on his hand.

"So you're saying there's a *next time*?" Mark grins, looking at Barnaby expectantly.

He unwraps his own breakfast and takes a bite. Mmmm, the runny yolk is amazing.

The blonde is actually pretty nervous. His parents really talked Barnaby's ears off.

@Barnaby_BPM2 After dinner, Mark was delegated to dish-washing duty while his parents and Barnaby talked. If you don't cook then you have to clean, that's the family kitchen rules. But it also means he's always on washing duty too;;

He blows on it a bit before taking a sip. His face is hilarious.

@Barnaby_BPM2 There are some adults in the queue. His best guess is they're probably the event staff. The older ones who's supposed to make sure nothing illegal occurs and kick the younger staff into gear during clean up time.

They get their sandwiches and coffee soon enough.

@Barnaby_BPM2 Compliments for the food are the first to be dealed out by the blonde family, while compliments for the guest keeps coming from Candy. She seems to have completely warmed up to the boy after cooking together. Mark sends Barnaby glances to check if he's comfortable.

@Barnaby_BPM2 "*Barnaby! Yeah, that's the name!*" He smiles, bright and wide. He shakes his hans a couple times before going to his seat. Josh sits on one side of the table with Candy, leaving the kids seated next to each other. Then they can all begin eating.
