@PaulCowland_@carandclassic Great article. I love owning, maintaining and driving my low cost classic Fiat 126. It always turns heads and I’m always stopped and questioned when filling up. P.s. keep your eye’s peeled I’m from your neck of the woods!
@thealso@ajpbradley I’ve found that you get a much better field of view with them this way round. Hoping my new ones don’t droop as that’s why the originals needed replacing!
@thealso@ajpbradley Thanks for posting your pic, it’s backed up that I have put my new mirrors on the right way round after being told they need rotating 90 degrees! 😀
@Carpervert@nickdeacon71 Here’s a pic of the tobacco vinyl and orange carpet interior, the only way I could make it look more early 80s would be to put a Human League LP in shot!
@VanniniSilvio @VincentL40 Those wheels were used on both the later 500s and the first generation 126. There was a crossover of many parts until the 500 finally ceased production.
@DanielCars05@StripeyMiata Cheers. I can definitely recommend one as your first classic. I’ve previously owned a beetle and a mini and the fiat is the easiest to work on and definitely turns the most heads. 😀
