@nickkokonas @Telegraph @AndrewOrlowski 1./ Nick, feels more like the subsidies paid by VCs when Uber and AirBnB were trying to buy marketshare. I couldnt believe how cheap Ubers were when they first showed up. But now, yellows in NYC are much more economical.

@Jackkk Selling calls and buying puts is the same as shorting the stock. Its not a collar. In FX trading its called a ‘risk reversal’, but the potential payoff is identical to shorting the underlying asset.
So he basically locked in the value of his $5.7$ bil minus the cost of the hedge

@EconTalker @anilkseth We confuse language with intelligence, and intelligence with consciousness. LLMs produce nice patterns of language and seem very intelligent. It's not much of a stretch to think they are consciousness also but we are confusing all 3 aspects of humanity.

@nickkokonas @joerogan Agree. Both things will be true. I anticipate 2 markets: 1. AI-built for mass consumption and 2. Human-built for bespoke consumption. The "Authentic, Human-Built" economy will seem new and daring in the same way the AI/fake one does now.
