@Christi09787198@johnredwood And there's plenty of stuff we can't make anyway - like pineapples (because of our climate) and cars, steel etc (because Redwood's Tories maliciously shut down our manufacturing base to give tax cuts to their mates in the City)
@Andrew05961225@johnredwood At the last General Election he certainly did some running. Running away from the verdict of the voters of Wokingham on his dismal pig ignorant Brexit obsession
@johnredwood Trade deficits stimulate growth by inter alia boosting consumer demand and increasing competition. You really do sound like a dolt when you try to discuss economics - which you really don't understand
@johnredwood The EU re set means more young people going to EU to find jobs and housing. It means trade in energy and energy using products, a big increase in income from EU students, profitable trade in large amounts of our fish, and a big surplus. It will increase our growth rate.
@sussexshore@johnredwood@brexitblog_info Ten years in the planning? I wish! There never was a plan, there still isn't. Brexit is just people like Redwood whining about betrayal, without having one constructive idea about what should happen now we've flounced out of Mrs Thatcher's single market at a cost of billions
@johnredwood "UK government plan"? How can the UK address a global problem like this? Actually I have an answer - by being part of the EU which, unlike the UK, is big enough to matter. And why aren't we in the EU dumbo?
@Ruth15888148184@Facts4euOrg@johnredwood Nothing. But we can have Erasmus too. As ever, you Brexiters sem to think we have to choose between the EU and the rest of the world. We don't. We can have both - as we did when we members of the EU
@johnredwood@Telegraph Of course! Increasing our export trade is sure to damage growth. All economists know that. Don't they? Otherwise put - shut the fuck up Brexit clown
