Seeing these faces light up as they opened their box of new shoes was everything. @Soles4Souls, we can’t thank you enough for blessing our community with this generous donation. 🫶🏾
“Why can’t we yell if we’re outside?”
Because every environment requires different behavior. When in doubt… READ THE ROOM.
Today’s hike taught awareness, resilience, and respect for people, nature, and shared spaces.

Confidence is built through participation- not just potential.
Young men grow when they move from watching the world to contributing to it. “Observation to Ownership” means giving boys real chances to lead, serve, try, fail, learn, and grow through experience.

Our final ION Showcase & House Celebration of the year was bittersweet. Watching students grow in confidence and presentation skills has been incredible, but realizing our 5th graders are moving on soon hit hard. Proud of who they’re becoming. @SPSHuskies
Today we slowed down and chose connection. Moms & sons—present, listening, loving. These are the moments our boys carry. Grateful for families, supporters, and The Alley on Main for creating space for what matters most.
I love when students and their families invite me into their world outside of school. I may never know if one hour changed a life, but knowing it could is enough to keep showing up.
Huskies believe from within.
Tomorrow isn’t about being perfect, it’s about trusting the work you’ve already done.
Families, keep it simple tonight.
Students, stay calm and take it one step at a time.
We believe in you, and we’re already proud. 🐾
@SPSHuskies
Serving the whole child isn’t a slogan, it’s a commitment.
Today wasn’t just an event. It was connection, confidence, and community in motion. When students are seen beyond the classroom, growth shows up differently.
Thank you to everyone who showed up and supported @PA__Youth
April brings our final @LPSorg District Scholar Equity Cadre @LPSscholarcadre session and the energy is exactly where it should be.
Scholars arrived dressed to impress, leaning into networking, connection, and building their personal and collective brand.
We started the day grounded in community because relationships lead and from there, the space shifted.
Their presence, their purpose, their greatness… it’s lifting everything around them.
Leadership often feels like a series of "radio calls" and constant movement, but Friday reminded me why the "run around" is worth it. What I thought was a call to handle an issue turned into a beautiful surprise from our 5th-grade students for AP Week. ❤️ I love being an AP.
Nobody told you the real job description:
College prepared you for reading and arithmetic, until you met that one kid who didn’t believe school was for them.
That’s when pedagogy takes a backseat, and you realize your real job is building BELIEF systems.
Everything else follows
Assistant Principal Week has wrapped up, and I’m beyond grateful.
Thankful for the opportunity to serve, build relationships with students, and be part of the work that helps them be prepared for life.
