Am Sonntag wählen knapp 1,7 Millionen Wahlberechtigte in Sachsen-Anhalt den neuen Landtag. Die Alternative für Deutschland (AfD) um Spitzenkandidat Ulrich Siegmund liegt mit weit über 40 Prozent der Stimmen in Umfragen deutlich vorn. Ob es für eine absolute Mehrheit reicht, ist allerdings noch nicht sicher. Die AfD-Bundessprecher Tino Chrupalla und Alice Weidel erklären deshalb zum Wahl-Endspurt:

„In Sachsen-Anhalt geht es um die Zukunft Deutschlands. Die AfD hat ein klares Ziel für den Wahlsieg formuliert: Sie möchte geltendes Recht – beispielsweise mit Blick auf illegale Migration – durchsetzen und dafür sorgen, dass Deutschland lebenswert bleibt. Die anderen Parteien haben die Fehler der vergangenen Jahre beispielsweise auch mit Blick auf Energiewende und Bildungspolitik nicht korrigiert und zeigen wenig Interesse an einem echten Kurswechsel.
