@Chris_Riggers @nqpcharlie This is a great response! Remember, it’s more about what you’re comfortable with rather than others. This is especially important with students—some will need encouragement to step out of their comfort zone, and for some, that might be most of the time.

In Euro 2020 Christian Erikson suffered a cardiac arrest during a game. It took him months to recover from, and now in Denmarks first game in Euro 2024 he scored their first goal. Incredible.
@GlenwrightCook My take of this would be if GP believes someone requires an immediate face to face assessment then it’s the ambulance service who provide that care function.
@TimEdwards76 @simontutt88 @georgette_eaton@Ldn_Ambulance@TimEdwards76 I get Simons point, using the term ‘Advanced’ in the title across the health system draws the responsibilities of an 8a clinician, that is what other HCPs will expect when consulting with them. With all the toxicity around PAs atm this stuff is important.
@andycollen@ParamedicTutor@LiumJones Agreed. I do think though there is a point that whilst we have them then they should be honoured. Some staff not wearing I sometimes find have done it for a purposeful reason, that isn’t professionally driven.
Royal recognition for a selfless paramedic. 🎖️
