@Local416@anabailaoTO "I am pleased to hear that Premier Ford and I agree on this proposal" (to move the Ontario Science Centre to Ontario Place).
Why would you support this? The OPSEU workers of the Science Centre don't support it. No one except Ford and Bailão support it.

@stuartlosaltos Here's another article in Time that features an interview with Mastodon's founder Eugen Rochko. It further describes the business model. I'm on it, and I feel it's very good. https://t.co/qE4FfMkZmF
@IRPlawyer It doesn't matter which server you're on, since they're federated. You'll be able to connect and follow those who've joined different servers. There's a list of recommended servers here: https://t.co/MIdKJylK6V
@stuartlosaltos "Most Fedi servers belong to unpaid volunteers, or non-profit community groups and co-ops.The running costs are covered by the server owners themselves and donations from their users. There are no investors, no venture capital firms, no ads, no trackers." https://t.co/soGNSppWaD
@CBCStephenQuinn As others have said, it doesn't matter which server you're on, since they're federated. You'll be able to connect and follow those who've joined different servers. There's a list of recommended servers here: https://t.co/MIdKJy48Il
@ManjaroLinuxARM Hello Manjaro. I just wanted to point out an issue with the last upgrade. It seems a typo in the version number of kirigami-addons is keeping it at version 1:0.3-1, rather than upgrading to version 1:0.4-1. I give more detail here: https://t.co/MtpWw2jfWh
COVID-19: Things everyone should know (Part 1: Immune System)
With poor public health messaging, the general public doesn't seem to know some important things about how COVID-19 and the immune system actually works. 🧵1/
@janephilpott Really? A quick search of both the CTV news site and the CBC news site shows quite a bit of coverage. Here's two links of these searches I did, using duckduckgo:

@iamdavidmiller I supported continuing your vision of Transit City, which is why I voted for Joe Pantalone after you stepped down. Alas, Joe did not win. I feel public transit in Toronto would have been much better off if he had won.
@deblindenas @VoiceOfFranky I think the prevalence of individualism has made striving for collective solutions difficult. Thus, we have a lot of "leftist individuals" sneering at various leftist organizations, often deeming them inadequate.
@TomPark1n Yeah. I want the Libs to live up to the agreement, since I feel dental care is important. The concern though is the mountain of cash that the CPC has. As Harper did with Dion, I foresee a heap of attack ads polluting our airwaves in the future. The Libs may want to avoid this.
@JesseJamesAing@TomPark1n Winning a plurality does not necessarily equal gaining confidence of the House (which is required for taking power). That said, I feel proportional representation would be a good thing. Some Conservatives also feel likewise. See: https://t.co/oZQRyxN7X7
