Hi my name's Mark and I'm a moodaholic
Bullish on community π and people here seem to be interested in the person not just the art. I love that so I thought I'd say hi π
I've being capturing landscapes for over a decade as a passion. Based in the beautiful Queenstown, NZ
@danielmurray_nz Nikon since 2008 (although brief period with a backup Sony A6000 but wast sold on the elec viewfinder and menu system). Running D850, D810, Nikkor 20mm f1.8, 50mm f1.4, 70-200 f4 and 2x extender. Mavic Pro but virtually never used anymore.
@Joannehollings Been there. Keep a log of your mood, anything you look back at and see how much of your life isn't spent in a panic. It will help put things in perspective and remind you during the hard times that everything is temporary and you'll make it through it.
Some days I think, maybe I'm not an introvert.
Then Friday comes and I've used up all my social energy for the week and I just want to go home put a hoodie on, put the hood up and disappear.
@darylswalker True, I've stayed at D850 DSLR as I couldnt justify to myself that mirrorless would actually make me a better photographer (yet).
At some point they will convince me but I can still take epic shots with what I have.
@darylswalker Glass optics haven't changed that much over the years. Auto focus and bodies have changed a huge amount, but if you can master more basic gear you can get better results than not knowing how to use top of the line gear.
Enjoying this thought exercise.
@TheDanCosta Big difference between being able to appreciate the art of others and what you are trying to portray with your own. To get even deeper, we see both pieces with the same eyes and we interpret their art different to how they did when they made it.
