Of all the questions about the lack of warning for the people of #Maui, there is one I haven’t heard anyone ask: where was #radio?

[Mark Howell @MarkHowellRadio]

@NPR There’s audible 60 hz hum under the newscast announcer. Kinda annoying.

[Mark Howell @MarkHowellRadio]

Ouch!

[Mark Howell @MarkHowellRadio]

Not once, not twice, but three times, @WDTN ran local commercials over @NBCNews interview with Bill Barr outside scheduled breaks— wiping out key points of the interview. I wonder what I missed? #idiots

Heartiest congratulations to the folks I worked with for 25+ years!

Who decided that #TV news writers should avoid using verbs? The “gerundizing” is intensely #annoying and real people never talk that way.

Today is my 11th work anniversary @KICKS96WQLK —time flies when you’re having fun! I’ll miss this weekend due to illness but hope to be back on the air March 20.

Back on the air @KICKS96WQLK after last weekend’s health scare #notCOVID

[Mark Howell @MarkHowellRadio]

It’s bad enough when the guy mixing audio for thr @NFL game on @NFLonFOX almost drowns out the announcers with crowd noise. When the crowd noise is fake, it unforgivable.

[Mark Howell @MarkHowellRadio]

I heard a reporter on @NPR speak of “won-ton endangerment.” What is that—spitting in the soup? #ignorance

How strange it is to watch the ACM performers sing to empty venues.#ACMawards

It’s hard to believe that today is my 10-year (part time) work anniversary at @KICKS96WQLK —that’s a lot of Saturdays!

Congratulations to my former co-workers @kuzzradio on their Academy of #countrymusic award nominations —medium market Station Of The Year; Brent Michaels and Kenn McCloud for medium market On-air Personality Of The Year. Nobody does it better! #radio #Bakersfield
