After helping Italy earn its first Olympic women’s gymnastics team medal in 96 years, Giorgia Villa became known for one of the most unusual sponsorships in sports history.

In 2021, the Italian gymnast was named a Parmigiano Reggiano ambassador and appeared in a promotional campaign featuring giant cheese wheels, massive Parmesan blocks, and even gymnastics poses alongside the iconic Italian product. Although the partnership ended in 2022, the photos resurfaced during the Paris Olympics and quickly went viral again.
