@mikeerwydd1968 Because the majority of those on benefits will only vote Labour, add those in the civil service, those immigrant communities and you have prob 30% of the voting population, they vote where they will be best off, nothing to do with our country going down the drain.
@DavidJo10803005@SeddSezz Yep, it’s because if you don’t charge enough you can’t employ staff, everything has gone up, try finding a waitress who will work for minimum wages. They’d rather stay home on benefits!
@SeddSezz@sharrond62 Whitehead may be looking at investing else where but these places were open. Paying taxes & employing people.
It’s a fact that the NI rise crippled business’ that employ over 10 staff!
This government have killed the goose, when everywhere is closed on the high st,who pays tax
@BladeoftheS Amazing, that there’s between 70 & 100 countries with health care similar to ours in the UK. The service we get ‘ain’t’ great and we pay a fortune in NI for it, it’s not free! If we look to modernize or adapt everyone looks at the American model, why?? Why look at others?
@AndyGoode10 Andy, don’t let them get you down buddy. I’m one of 1000’s who enjoy your punditry! Just wish I had your job but wasn’t talented enough to have an opinion that counted. Keep it up, thx. PS pod cast is pretty decent too.
@matcow7 Not certain why anyone talking about NHS reform jumps straight to copying the USA, loads of countries have a system that includes a part insurance and in my experience they work really well, unlike our system!
It needs a cross political solution not this ‘you can’t touch the NHS
@BenGrahamUK Votes, actions and words have consequences, if you vote green you are voting for open borders so why not the detention centers and migrants are welcomed.
Makes perfect sense.
@darrengrimes@TiceRichard Open borders, Unlimited migrants, All drugs legalised, bloody terrifying!
When the Greens stood for what’s best for our environment they had a point, now I feel they’re just dangerous.
@GBNEWS@miriam_cates In my humble opinion, that of a 64 yo who would lose it if means tested, this makes sense if started now, not retrospectively. Then whilst working we could start private pensions. To do it retrospectively is unfair & unjust.
@StuartofLeeds@bbcquestiontime Actually thought some of his thoughts and arguments were well thought out. At least he was prepared to answer questions from the other panelists. Most of the politicians from the two main parties didn’t discuss preferring to roll out the same old party lines.
@piperthesniper Not certain it will happen but for the sake of our country I hope they settle their differences in the Countries Interest. Anything to stop a Lab/Green alliance, a terrifying thought 😩😩
