Roki Sasaki has one of the most dynamic and well-executed throws in baseball. Being able to throw 100+ mph requires a phenomenal creation and transfer of energy from the start to the end of the throw.

Continually having the center of mass moving in the negative vertical direction is NOT an energy leak, especially if you have some weaknesses yielding in the first place.
