On matters #FinanceBill I empathise with the President, he has a choice btw bad & worse. The reality is that only 2 options subsist : Opt 1 await Bill , assent to it as is & get his development agenda bogged down by the ensuing disenchantment . Opt 2 :- Be publicly sensitive to the national sentiment voiced by the youth, take account of what the people are saying & send the Bill back to Bunge with the most elaborate memoranda issued in executive history. Only one of these options will serve to deescalate & create a more stable environment for discourse on the national agenda.
@OleItumbi 1/2You guys don’t get it! No one is against the government building houses! The problem is how you have designed the program. First it is discriminatory from a contribution point of view. Two, those contributing have no clear path to how they can own a house they contributed to.
There is law, there is money and there is power, but the only thing that is available to everyone is a prayer. If prayers were nothing, they wouldn’t mock those who pray. So continue to pray. Even law, money and power have limits, but no one can limit our imperfect prayers.
