We were honoured to have Michael Messenger, CEO of World Vision Canada on campus. We love them and the work they do helping vulnerable women and children in the poorest parts of the world.

Been remembering... this week last year I had the privilege of visiting our GlobeTrekkers while they were guests of OM Nepal. And I got my first and only glimpse of the great Mount Everest! Love the memories. #prairiecolleges#globetrek#studyabroad#omcanada
@MWPahl Really well said in the article. 15 years ago I was buying a firm from a Jewish friend. As we concluded our deal we turned to our faith positions... I told him he needed to read the next chapter in the book (your point in the article).
@MWPahl Also, I don’t do bickering on line. If I comment, it is hopefully, always in affirmation. I almost didn’t affirm yours because I didn’t want you to feel I was creeping you. But I enjoy your posts. Thanks and God speed.
@MWPahl Oh no, I thought you would agree. Mostly I was picking up on your thread and connecting it to the recent comments by Andy Stanley. I’m sure you are a “whole teachings” person, as I hope I am too.
@MWPahl Interesting point, Michael. #BeenThinking. Jesus said “the Scriptures ... bear witness about me.” (John 5:39). He was probably referring to the Older Testament, right? Better not to unhitch from the OT, if we wish to teach “Jesus.”

Enjoying Brian Doerksen w/ MWA alumni in concert on stage at Prairie, singing “Grateful” from his new album. Thanks Brian, we’re grateful to God for you and for launching our program.
Sitting w/ Jamie McIntosh at World Vision Canada’s AGM, always educational, challenging & inspiring. Thank you WV for your heart for the poor, especially for women & children.
