Overnight, a round of rain is looking more likely that could deliver 1/2” to 1” for parts of the area.

We're heading into Thursday and Friday with plenty to talk about:

1. It's hot and humid again. Highs near 95, feeling like close to 100 .
2. It's windy. Gusty winds 25-35 mph on Thursday, into parts of Friday.
3. Scattered thunderstorms Thursday evening. Not many, but a few could be strong with damaging winds.
4. Tropical rain is possible Thursday night into Friday morning. Half-inch or less as it looks right now.
5. Dry for Friday afternoon into the weekend.

From around the age of 16 up until around that memory there/year, off & on I was “out there in the streets“.
