Fair enough. It does seem to be a large deviation from your normal posts. I will live and let you live without pushing it any further (especially after your extremely polite “No thank you”).

I just want to at least ask something, however, if you are not already completely backed away: have you found politeness and mutual respect between those who disagree on this issue rare? I certainly have found it rare myself.

I tend to think Eden was ‘before’ ordinary spacetime—not a date on the early Earth. Young earth and old earth both leave pieces hanging, the way general relativity and quantum theory still don’t fit in one picture. Crazy? Maybe. If you want the longer version I can say more. lol yes. It is undeniable that some accounts heavily subsidize their content with AI. So I think if someone is really “this” prolific, then they must be able to carry on a substantial and sustained conversation in person. So I reach out to many of them and even though they agree to be on my little show, it never works out and there is never actual video of this “prolific” person speaking. Based on the content of your posts (and that I did not see your videos to my own lack of research) I assumed that you were using AI to create many of your posts and potentially hiding behind a stolen identity.

You DID NOT disappoint in conversation!!! It is obvious that you have internalized what you post and can recall it fluently in live conversation. This is very rare.

How can one treat the Gospels as reliable enough to give us a great teacher and unreliable enough to discard the claims that teacher made about Himself.

Regardless of whether or not Jesus said He was the only way or even YHWH, the most reliable accounts we have of Jesus‘s life are the four gospels and those 4 gospels make it nearly impossible to accept anything that Jesus said as credible or worthwhile unless we also accept His self-proclaimed divinity. 

Why was He killed by Rome? Why did the religious leaders HATE Him? Why were the disciples ready to DIE for Him? The most reasonable answer is that He Himself claimed to be God. Why would we listen to any claim that a person makes other than the claim of their own divinity until they back THAT claim up? If they don’t back it up, then they are a liar or a lunatic: so who cares what else they have to say? Let’s hear it from a not liar or a sane person. NOTHING else that they have to say matters at all. But if they back it up, then EVERYTHING they say is literally from the mouth of GOD Himself!

If the authors of the Gospels made Jesus out to be a legend who never claimed Himself that He was God, then what other documents can we rely on to hear the teachings of this “good moral” teacher who inspired so many as a mere man who claimed nothing more of Himself? If He is a legend, then who cares what He actually had to say because He wasn’t even powerful or influential enough to make sure that His very own words were preserved without delusions of grandeur? Additionally, if He was just a embellished legend, then His words don’t carry any particular authority so we can just listen to some other “guru” tell us to love others like ourselves or better yet just listen to YHWH tell us that in the 5 Books of Moses.

If Jesus isn’t Lord, then HE DOESN’T MATTER….but if He is Lord, then He is ALL that matters.

Who do YOU say that He is?

As for me, HE IS LORD!!! I do not personally understand how Jesus can be accepted as anything except for worthless or everything. There is no gradient: He is nothing or everything / 0 or 1. The disciples did not seem to leave us any other choice and He did not seem to give us any other credible way to accept a lukewarm middle ground on who we say that He is.
