Scary for producers, directors and all creators on all sorts of levels. Apparently Rebel Wilson is evil. As well as these other big hitters. This is basically ID theft in a different way.

"What feels new is the expectation, on the part of both makers and audiences, that there is such a thing as knowing definitively what a work of art means or stands for, aesthetically and politically. This strikes me as a blatant redefinition of art itself.”

During the past 6-8 years, a clear message has gone out to criminals in and around the state of CA: Come commit your crimes here; we won’t prosecute you.
Criminals heard that message and set up their enterprises here. The violence and chaos in CA is a direct result of a consistent dedication by Newsom, Gascon, Bass, and others to not enforce the laws in this state. The apathy of the CA politicians regarding what is illegal here is what has increased the “violence and chaos” in CA.
I’m grateful we elected @NathanHochmanDA to replace Gascon as DA to enforce our laws, but more like him are needed in CA to replace those in office who insist on encouraging the destruction of CA.
I was sitting with an older animator watching Disney's first feature length cartoon, Snow White. We both were amazed at the film.
I asked him "How much do you think it would cost to make this today?" I'll never forget his answer...
"We can't, we don't know how to do it."
.@RickChavezZbur, this is quite irrational. You desire to make it illegal to defend one’s home, and also to defend oneself. Can you please tell us why you would introduce something so baffling and damaging to the law-aboding, tax-paying citizens of California.
Our SOUND MIX is finished! Thanks to our sound designer Bryan Kuroda.
VISUAL EFFECTS are the next hurdle and our VFX supervisor, Ben Martin is hard at work. Thank you to all of you for your wonderful support of my movie.

I’m glad for the crews on these Apple+ and Disney projects that were able to qualify for the recent CA tax credit. However, I can’t think of two production companies that have less of a need to get an over $43m “break” each.
You know who is not benefitting at all from these CA tax incentives? The independent filmmakers who are trying to bring fresh, new, non-woke work to an audience that’s tired of offerings from the bigger companies.
This is why I’d like to see federal film grants made available for independent filmmakers who want to make non-woke films. And keep the work in the US.
Let’s make it happen. @realDonaldTrump@POTUS@VP@jonvoight@TheSlyStallone #melgibson
LOL. I know you mean well here, but most of my accomplishments have been since the age of 50. I've done much more in my 50's than I ever did before that.
After 50:
- I graduated from UCLA with a computer science and digital media management degree (started as a freshman at 46).
- Published two books, "FAME: The Hijacking of Reality," and "FACE: One Square Foot of Skin."
- Directed two film shorts (FIVE MINUTES and PUSH) and three feature films (LOOK, FEEL, and VIOLET).
- Started a non-AI film festival, the CREDO 23 Film Festival. (https://t.co/fsjKzWZ8Wa for passes.)
I'm currently writing two new books and casting for my new film. Acting ended for me years ago when my writing, directing, producing career took off. And I've just barely begun what I was born for, so this is the beginning for me. What I do in the future will eclipse everything I've already done.
Life is long. There is a lot around the corner.
@MattBelloni please SHUT. IT. The world and #stevenspielberg realize that a Back to the Future reboot would be stupid-ridiculous-lame. What reboot has worked?? Thanks @craighorlbeck for standing up for what’s right💪🏼
So who saw #Megalopolis ? It wasn’t THAT bad, I mean… good performances, definitely visionary. A bit misguided and awful VO. Thoughts? Also… why FFC? Why did you need to make this movie?
Megalopolis makes SIX flops in a row in theaters in less than two months for Lionsgate, a truly epic run with implications for a struggling company, via @ScottMendelson. https://t.co/zmFXWPxa1M
Previously unseen footage of David Lynch, @TheRealRayWise, Sheryl Lee, Mary Sweeney, and Catherine E. Coulson arriving at the North Bend Theatre for the US premiere of Twin Peaks: Fire Walk with Me on August 16, 1992.

Stop resurrecting these dead films and series and board games and toys. The living need to have their own ideas emerge as films and series. Stop pulling bodies out of the cemetery. The audience doesn’t want this. The audience wants The New and they deserve films in THIS time.
