@Steam This is a very complicated matter, because where do you trace the actual red line here?
Basically all game engines come with an integrated big ai button now that actually makes programmers, designers and producers' life easier.
Is it bad only for art? Is it all bad, period?

[Super Mega Team @SuperMegaTeam]

Industry looking bleak atm.
Lots of broken indie hearts yesterday with the astounding amount of fully ai made demos burying the human made ones.

Yes, ai stuff will get algo'd down in the charts within days, but meanwhile the event is ruined.

The ball is on @Steam's court.

[Mark C. Nine @MarkNineGD]

@SuperMegaTeam @Steam My red line is commercial intent vs. democratizing creativity. As a designer outside the industry without a team, AI lets me prototype ideas that would otherwise die in a GDD. It shouldn't be used to flood stores, but as a creative sandbox it’s invaluable.

This indie team is making a survival horror game where you control an android exploring a toxic fog-covered post-apocalyptic city

- Infiltrate abandoned locations
- Search for vital resources
- Evade other machines and scavengers

Would you play this? It's called M.I.N.S.K.

[Spang’s Indies @WillsSpangler]

These indie devs are building a magical platformer where you play as the severed hand of a magician.

- Eerie hand drawn visual style
- Unique abilities that leverage the arcane arts
- Use your powers to reunite with your body

Would you play this?

Game is The Magician's Hand

@lopedetoledo Además, los tejados del ático recuerdan a las tradicionales Barraques. Tremendo guiño al espíritu de l'horta.
