@megbasham@DoniTheMisfit And the Bible is a foundational text for our country.
How do we know this?
The New England Primer...the first textbook for education in Colonial America developed by the Puritans. It contained Bible verses linked to the alphabet for grade school kids, among many applications.
@PhillipAKennedy@LandDEBRUYCKER@seanhannity Aren't we ignoring his actions back in 2020 when he appointed ACB to the court, which turned out to be the 5th vote for Roe v. Wade reversal?
@ssearle63@NotFarLeftAtAll Kentucky....home of beautiful horses and fast women...uhhh wait! I got that backwards....
I heard some of the British people saying this about Starmer: "He's a wank-uh!"
I am really, really angry at the lies being spread by the usual cadre of woke, retired generals and admirals in the last couple of days.
Pete Hegseth is not politicizing our nation's military, he is DEPOLITICIZING it.
And the Marxists HATE it, because a politicized military is essential to their society-destroying agenda.
My 1,000 word article below explains. Please read, I think it's really important.
@DefiyantlyFree - in short, you and I see the world as Civil Society v. Barbarians.
Those who take the side of the Palestinians/Islamists see the world as "Oppressor v. Oppressed", where Israel is the oppressor. They are always the oppressor in their minds.
My defense of Israel has nothing to do with Israel. It has everything to do with
the ability to look at the world and tell the truth about it.
On one side stands a democracy, a place with real elections, a free press, courts that can overrule its own government, and full rights for the Arabs who make up a fifth of its citizens. On the other stands a regime that executes its own people in public, jails women over their hair, kills the convert and the dissident, arms terrorists from Lebanon to Yemen, and has called for the death of America for forty years.
That is not a hard call. You knew the answer before you finished reading the sentence. Your conscience answered for you.
So the question that matters isn’t really about the Middle East. It’s about what’s happened to people who can no longer give that answer clearly and honestly and why they can’t do it. That’s the question that matters because it’s the question that determines what kind of leaders we will have. Ones who see the world honestly or ones who make the world what they want and lie to people to convince them to see it that way.
People who look at the massacre of October 7th, at families killed in their homes and kids hunted at a festival, and decide the killers are the victims. They didn’t lose a debate. They lost something deeper. They taught themselves to invert truth and morality on command, to call cruelty courage and call decency oppression, to feel sympathy toward evil. And once a person can do that, they can do it about anything.
That is the part Americans need to hear, because it doesn’t stay overseas.
The people training themselves to switch it off about Iran are not going to switch it back on for you. And tyranny is counting on exactly that, because tyranny never arrives announcing itself. It comes as your protector. It comes to right a wrong, to silence the dangerous voices, to keep you safe.
The only thing that has ever stopped it in time is ordinary people who could still look at it and say, out loud and at cost, no that is wrong.
This is why Israel and America stand on the same ground, whether or not Israel is on your mind at all. America was founded by people who believed the deepest freedom a human being has is the freedom to stand before God by his own conscience, with no king and no mob in between. They wrote it into our law because they knew how rare it was that there are vast stretches of this earth, then and now, where a man cannot change his faith and live. That freedom is not natural to power.
It has to be defended, generation after generation, by people willing to name what’s true when it’s unpopular to name it. Israel, on the far edge of that same inheritance, is doing exactly what we ask of ourselves: looking an enemy sworn to its destruction in the face and refusing to pretend it isn’t there.
So I’ll say it plainly. To defend Israel is not to choose a foreign country over our own. It’s to keep faith with the one thing without which America is just a flag over a place: the willingness to tell the truth about good and evil and to stand on the right side of it. A people who can be talked out of that about their friends will be talked out of it about themselves. And a people who can still say it clearly, bravely, when it costs them are the only people who have ever kept a country free.
That’s why I stand where I stand. Not for Israel’s sake. For Americas sake because the people who want to convince you our enemies are our friends by lying, gaslighting and manipulating you will be the first ones to take your freedoms away.
Do you think anyone likes death threats, fake doxxings and relentless attacks unwarranted attacks? No, they don’t.
But hear me, those of a who fight on here everyday aren’t victims. We chose to do this because the truth matters.
The country we leave to our children matters.
And the people who are on here lying and making everything about a country the size of New Jersey are doing it for power.
🚨 THREAD: What do Mike Pence, Mike Pompeo, John Bolton, and Elaine Chao have in common? They were all paid by a Marxist-Islamist Iran group that was designated as terrorist until 2012.
No, this is not a joke.
Mojahedin-e-Khalq (MEK) was founded by leftist Islamists to oppose the western-backed Pahlavi, and participated in his 1979 overthrow. Khomeini barred MEK afterwards. MEK was implicated in multiple bombings, including that of Americans, and remained an openly armed group until 2003.
Since they got de-listed as a terrorist organization in 2012 on procedural grounds, MEK and their fronts have been actively recruiting US politicians selling themselves as a moderate alternative to Khomeini. But RAND Corporation says MEK meets the qualifications for a cult, citing criteria such as forcing their members to work 16+ hour days and forced divorces.
Polls of the Iranian-American community shows that they do NOT accept Rajavi, MeK's leader, as legitimate, with a 46-point net disapproval - numbers nearly as bad as the existing regime.
As Pence's former Chief of Staff, Marc Short, has already weighed against Trump deal, it's helpful to recall this.
Receipts below. As always, patience as I pull the thread together.👇
If you're going to read a Christian take on what happened in NYC, I beg you, read this one and not one from an evangelical establishment company man who five minutes ago agreed with Russell Moore that Baptists have an obligation to help get mosques built in the US and who opposed Trump's judicious temporary ban on immigration from Muslim-majority nations.
Don't reward weather vanes who don't bother to explain why they suddenly have new views!!!
@ssearle63@paullewismoney Speaking of the British Postal Service....after watching Prime Video's "Mr. Bates vs. The Post Office", why would anyone want to manage a Post Office in Britain? What a scandal!
@ssearle63@TomK_Brit1993 Getting along well with European leaders who are destroying their own countries with Godless policies isn't exacty an achievement for preserving civil society.
@crismiller12@KySportsRadio According to the Oakmont CC leadership (the club locker room he trashed last year), Clark has more than made amends for his behavior.
This is actually pretty good.
Kinda like when Jesus healed the 10 lepers...only one came back to thank him.
If the Master from Galilee only got thanks from 10% of the people, why should expect more?
@sola_chad
@JimStramaglia I knew we were in trouble when Trump held a presser touting Hydroxychlorine and Ivermectin, trying to give hope to the masses, and Big Pharma & the media trashed him.
They NEVER would've done that to Obama or Biden.
