A special episode of the series sees @john_a_maxwell and @MarkPockets join @craigfowler86 to fully unpack how the Scottish Championship pre-season favourites ended up getting relegated to League One.

Give Dylan Smith club captaincy and go back to the model from the last time we were down in (the then) Division 2. Build a young squad who can bring back the identity of the club that has absolutely been lost over the last 4/5 seasons of absolute dreck that has been on show
Been quiet on this as was away for the weekend. A season with literally 0 redeeming features. A good few there for a pay day and little else. Has been discussed plenty elsewhere, but a complete cultural reset required, otherwise we could end up in League One for a while
I have nothing against Laidlaw & White & think they were often unfairly criticized, but not terribly sad to see them go. Smaller squad, more opportunities for young players and a total revamp in how things are done behind the scenes required. That includes Ferguson leaving IMO
@Chrisfinn2703 As a Lidl loyal, I hear people say this about Aldi every 18 months or so, go try it & just can't get what I need there. I look forward to this being another one of this occasions where I try it and see if it can change my mind.
Can Ross County save themselves from the third tier?
@john_a_maxwell and @MarkPockets join @craigfowler86 to discuss Stuart Kettlewell fixing the defence (but not much else), the best formation, dreading the play-offs ,and the worst case scenario.

A player I fully expect will kick on down south. In total honesty, wasn't working out this season (think there was an aspect of trying to do too much) & move was needed by both parties. Intrigued to see what other business we may do in the next 72 hours or so
Ross County Football Club can confirm that Ronan Hale has joined Gillingham FC on a permanent deal.
The Northern Irish forward moves south of the border for an undisclosed fee.
We would like to place on record our thanks to Ronan for his efforts and contribution at Ross County.

Genuinely, that might be the best half of football we have played for 5 seasons. Just need to keep it up. The move to a back 4 just looks like it has everyone in a much more comfortable position. You wouldn't know we're missing our talismanic striker
@DougieRoss80 Why? Just let them rip it up in June. Who's going to be available now that's suddenly gonna get snapped up? It's a much more attractive proposition in June as well as long as we can stay up
This will be unpopular, but as an option until the end of the season, I don't think it's a bad one. Like the statement says, a huge reset is needed in the summer (as we missed the opportunity for it last summer) so right now, we should only focus on how the next 18 games go.
Ross County Football Club can now announce the return of Stuart Kettlewell as First Team Manager on a contract running until the end of the current 2025/26 season.

He's a coach who's only previous experience at this level (with us) went well & has generally had a good short term impact at other clubs recently, albeit with a short shelf life, which is why I think the short term deal might work for both parties
🚨 CHRISTMAS POSTPONED 🚨
Unfortunately, due to a frozen pitch at Lesser Hampden & worries for reindeer safety, Santa has been unable to land in Glasgow.
Ross County Football Club can confirm the signing of Jack Wells-Morrison on a deal until the end of the season.
The former Crystal Palace left-sided midfielder joins the #Staggies after a successful trial period with the club.
Welcome to the Highlands, Jack!
Why was Tony Docherty's Ross County reign such a disaster?
@MarkPockets and @john_a_maxwell join @craigfowler86 to discuss a squad ill-suited to its shape, why things may get worse in January, and why an appointment above the manager is badly needed
